APOSTLESHIP OF PRAYER

Members of the Apostleship of Prayer promote devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Members and others are encouraged to say the "Daily Offering" to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The "Daily Offering" pamphlet is distributed to all parishioners in January of each year and throughout the year in the pamphlet rack in the vestibule of the church. Members pray for the special intentions of parishioners, for the sick, those who are undergoing surgery and those with special needs.

We meet on the First Monday of each month (except during the summer months and on the Second Monday of September) after the 8:00 am Mass and the Rosary following the Mass, at approximately 9:00 am, in the St. Maron Room. Annual dues of $10.00 are collected in December to defray the costs of the "Daily Offering" pamphlets.

My Daily Offering

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world. I offer them for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart; the salvation of souls, reparation for sin, and the reunion of all Christians. I offer them for the intentions of our Bishops and of all Apostles of Prayer, and in particular for those recommended by our Holy Father for this month.
