To the Members of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and School of Dallas,
As was announced at mass last weekend, our beloved Fr. Arthur Unachukwu has been appointed by Bishop Edward J. Burns as Vicar General, Moderator of the Curia, and Vicar for Clergy for the Diocese of Dallas. This prestigious and well-deserved assignment is a testament to Fr. Arthur’s unwavering faith, dedicated service, and exceptional leadership within our diocese. The bishop has granted Fr. Arthur the privilege of remaining at STA while fulfilling his new responsibilities until June 30, 2025.
While we will certainly miss his presence, energy, and guidance here at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and School, we are incredibly proud of this new chapter in his ministry. Fr. Arthur has been an extraordinary spiritual leader for our parish and school, deeply involved in the life of our parishioners and staff. His love for STA, his powerful homilies, and his joyful spirit have left a lasting imprint on our hearts and on the faith formation of our community.
On behalf of the entire STA family, we want to thank Fr. Arthur for the many ways he has blessed this community. His service has strengthened our promise to walk with every person we encounter to experience the presence of Christ. We are better because of him.
Please join us in praying for Fr. Arthur as he takes on this new and important role in service to the Diocese of Dallas. May God continue to guide him and bless his ministry abundantly.
With gratitude,
The Staff and Faculty of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and School
