Altar Server training is scheduled for Wednesday, November 13th, at 4 pm in the Church. This training is for young people in grades 5th - 11th who wish to serve at our Sunday liturgies.
STA Family, National Vocations Awareness Week is November 2-10. Please join us in prayer for the vocations in the Diocese of Dallas. Prayerfully consider whom you think Jesus Christ might be calling to be a priest or religious brother or sister. All STA moms are invited to STAMA's (St. Thomas Aquinas Mothers' Association's) November General Meeting on Monday, November 11th at 7pm in St. Anne's Hall. Please join us for a talk (for moms with kids of all ages) with Kelly Shoup about "Mom Meltdowns". Kelly is an educated, licensed, occupational Catholic therapist with over 20 years of experience working with kids plus 17 years parenting her son and 2 daughters. We hope to see you there!
Couples in your first years of marriage or parenthood, please join us for the Second Sunday Potluck on November 10th after the 11am mass. This is a great opportunity to meet other couples seeking to live out the Catholic vocation to marriage and to learn more about what's going on at the parish for married couples and families!
All women are invited to attend Our Lady's Altar Society's meeting on November 19th at 11:30 am. Following the meeting, Dolores McKibbin will lead us in making Advent Wreaths. There will also be Advent candles available for purchase. OLAS members are encouraged to bring mashed potato packages or stuffing for the St. Vincent de Paul Society's Thanksgiving dinners.
